Chris Hagen
Studio Accountant
After earning a BA in Religion, Chris began working for a non-profit teen pregnancy prevention program and also in Residential Life at Carleton College, his alma mater. From there, Chris transitioned to working for the largest theological bookstore in the world, Loome Theological Booksellers, where he discovered his passion for “keeping the books” as well as shelving books which eventually led to Chris purchasing the bookstore when the owner retired. After the bookstore closed Chris transitioned to an accounting role for the Catholic Community Foundation, where he continues to work today. In addition to his work at the Catholic Community Foundation, Chris also provides bookkeeping services to individual clients. Chris loves to organize numbers and support the behind-the-scenes work that provides the foundation for non-profit leaders to accomplish their missions and thrive.
Chris loves to read but also spends time with his large family on hikes, biking, swimming, and eating. Along with his family, he loves to explore every brook, path, playground, lake, and bridge of the St. Croix Valley.
